Stick — Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 2026

Stick is a 2v2 partnership card game. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it's used.

What we collect

Anonymous account ID. When you play online, the app creates an anonymous identifier via Firebase Authentication so the server can tell players apart during a match. This does not require or collect your name, email, or password.

Display name. If you enter a display name for online play, it's shown to other players in your match/room and stored so you can be identified in future sessions.

Gameplay data. Match state (room codes, bids, cards played, scores) is stored temporarily on our server (Firebase/Google Cloud) to run online matches. This data is tied to your anonymous ID, not to any personal identity.

What we don't do

We don't use analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We don't sell or share your data with third parties. We don't collect your email, phone number, or precise location.

Third-party services

Online play is powered by Google Firebase, which stores and processes the data described above on our behalf under Google's own privacy and security practices.

Data retention

Match and room data is retained only as long as needed to run and display your games, and may be deleted after a match ends or a room becomes inactive.
